NESIF Investment Process

Northstar Ventures is always keen to speak to ambitious Social Enterprises and other organisations with a strong Social impact ethos. The main attributes we look for in any prospective investment opportunity are:

  • A strong management team supported by a committed and engaged Board of Trustees / Directors
  • The identification of a sustainable opportunity that will bring increased Social Impact to the North East Region
  • A track record of delivering contracts with a Social Impact and the ability to measure the impact on the beneficiaries

 

There is no formal application process, but we encourage you to send us your business plan, give Peter a call or submit an Expression of Interest Form which can be downloaded below.

Reach Fund - Access Point

We are also an approved Access Reach Point which means that if we feel you need additional support in order to secure social investment, we are able to support your application to the Access Reach grant fund. You may be eligible for a small amount of grant funding to enable you to undertake the required investment readiness work.
